Forge Outdoor builds modular outdoor kitchens and cast concrete fireplaces for New Zealand homes. Designed for our weather, our coastlines, and the way Kiwis actually entertain. Auckland-owned, delivered and installed.
Designed for here
Most outdoor kitchens sold in NZ are built for somewhere else. Stainless steel that pits in coastal salt air. Powder-coated steel that fades under our UV. Timber that warps after one summer.
We took a different approach. Marine-grade 6063-T5 aluminium structure with full seamless welding. Sintered stone benchtops, 12 mm thick, harder than granite. Stainless steel hinges and screws on the moisture-prone joints. Both the structural and finishing materials are specified for outdoor exposure first, looks second.

Cast concrete fireplaces
Alongside the kitchen range, we build cast concrete outdoor fireplaces in two sizes. Wood-burning, semi-customisable, designed to extend the time you spend outside into cooler evenings. Different material from the kitchens because aluminium would warp under wood fire heat. Cast concrete handles it. Browse the fireplace range.
How we work
We are honest about how this gets made. The kitchen cabinets are designed to our specification and manufactured at our partner facility in Foshan, China, in their 30,000 sqm aluminium extrusion factory. They have been producing aluminium cabinetry since 2016. We have worked with them on the materials, finishes, and configurations that make sense for New Zealand homes.
What you do not get is a flat-pack you assemble yourself. We deliver to your site, install on a prepared base, and connect plumbing and gas through our trade contacts. It is a finished kitchen when we leave.
Auckland for now

Forge Outdoor sits alongside Forté, a New Zealand premium timber surfaces business. The same standards that go into Forté flooring and panelling, applied to outdoor cabinetry. We will not sell you something we would not put outside our own home.
