What you are buying

Forge offers two product ranges. The detail below covers outdoor kitchens. The fireplaces are a separate product range with their own configuration and inclusions, covered on the individual fireplace product pages.

Outdoor kitchens

A Forge Outdoor kitchen is a complete, installed system. Here is what is in the price.

Included

Marine-grade 6063-T5 aluminium cabinet structure with seamless-welded panels and stainless steel hinges and fittings
Sintered stone benchtops on cabinets where applicable (excludes kamado bay, planter)
Stainless steel sink and tap (in kitchens with a sink bay)
Cabinet hardware, levelling feet, end panels, and for L-shape and U-shape kitchens, corner cabinets with spacer panels
Delivery to your Auckland site
Installation by our trade team, including site assembly and positioning on your prepared base
Manufacturer warranty on cabinet structure (terms confirmed at quote)

Not included

BBQ, side burner, kamado, fridge. These are appliances. We design cabinet bays to fit standard sizes (91 cm and 120 cm BBQ openings) so you can choose the brand you actually want. Ask us if you need a recommendation.
Plumbing and gas connections. Sink and tap are supplied and fitted to the cabinet. Connecting to your water and waste lines is a plumbing job. We can recommend trades.
Electrical work. If you are adding lighting or a fridge, you will need a sparky.
The base. Cabinets sit on a flat, level surface (concrete pad, paving, deck). Your builder or landscaper handles the substrate.

Process and timing

Quote and confirm. Pick a layout. We confirm dimensions, colour, sink position, and any options.
Order and deposit. 50% deposit on confirmation, balance before delivery.
Production. 30 days from deposit to factory completion.
Shipping. Around 35 days Foshan to Auckland by sea, then customs clearance.
Delivery and install. We book a date once stock lands. Install takes a half day to a full day depending on layout.

Total lead time from order to installed kitchen is typically 10 to 14 weeks. We can be faster if we have stock on hand, ask before you order.

Site requirements before we install

A flat, level base sized for your kitchen (we will confirm dimensions at quote)
Vehicle access close enough for a two-person crew to move modules in
Plumbing rough-in if you have a sink bay (waste and supply terminations within reach of the cabinet)
Power supply if you have a fridge or lighting
Gas supply if you are running a built-in BBQ or side burner from mains gas

After install

Spare panels, doors, and hardware are available through us. Because it is a modular system, individual components can be replaced without rebuilding the kitchen. If something fails, email us with photos and we will work out what you need.
